Job Title: Commercial Real Estate Broker
Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and driven individual to join our team as a Commercial Real Estate Broker. In this role, you will be responsible for representing clients in the leasing, buying, and selling of commercial properties. You will work closely with property owners, investors, and tenants to facilitate transactions and ensure a seamless process from listing to closing. You will be provided with multiple Lease opportunities and immediate opportunities to acquire new investment properties for our portfolio.
Responsibilities:
1. Listing Management: Manage a portfolio of commercial property listings, including office buildings, retail spaces, industrial properties, and land parcels. Coordinate with property owners to gather relevant information, conduct property inspections, and develop comprehensive marketing strategies to attract potential buyers or tenants.
2. Client Representation: Act as a trusted advisor to clients seeking to lease, purchase, or sell commercial properties. Understand their needs and objectives, and provide expert guidance throughout the transaction process. Negotiate favorable terms on behalf of clients and ensure their best interests are represented at all times.
3. Market Research: Stay informed about local market trends, property values, and economic indicators affecting the commercial real estate industry. Conduct thorough market analysis to accurately price listings and advise clients on market conditions.
4. Prospecting and Lead Generation: Proactively identify and cultivate new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and relationship building. Develop strong relationships with property owners, investors, developers, and other industry professionals to expand the client base and generate leads.
5. Transaction Management: Oversee the entire transaction process, from initial offer to closing. Coordinate with attorneys, lenders, appraisers, inspectors, and other parties involved in the transaction to ensure a smooth and timely closing. Keep clients informed of progress and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
6. Documentation and Compliance: Prepare and review legal documents, contracts, leases, and agreements related to commercial real estate transactions. Ensure all paperwork is accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or related field (preferred).
- Licensed real estate broker in the state of Illinois.
- Proven track record of success in commercial real estate sales or leasing.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients and industry professionals.
- Knowledge of local market trends, zoning regulations, and commercial real estate practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and real estate management software.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a high level of initiative and professionalism.
