Custodial Linen Attendant - Full Time Overnights

The Lenox Hotel is looking for a Linen Attendant to work within the Housekeeping Department. This unionized position is responsible for receiving and organizing all linen deliveries, and in turn removing all used linen from the Hotel, ensuring a clean and orderly shipping/receiving area, special cleaning projects in various areas of the hotel, and assisting all areas of the housekeeping, front desk and engineering departments to ensure our back-of-the-house shines. An ideal candidate must be able to work both independently and in a team atmosphere. The Linen Attendant must be able to lift heavy deliveries of linen. Efficiency and hard work contribute to the overall outcome of every guest’s experience.
Candidates with availability on weekends and at least two overnights are encouraged to apply
Requirements:
-Must be able to lift up to 75lbs
-Required to reach, lift, carry, push, pull, grasp, manipulate or otherwise move objects
- Ability to bend, kneel, stand, walk, climb stairs with frequency
-Required to stand for up to six (6) hours at a time
-Ability to work in cold and hot weather climates
-Flexible work schedule including overnights, weekends, holidays
- Multi-lingual a plus
