*2nd Shift- 3:00pm-11:00pm*
The Quality Control Lab Technician, Raw Materials position inspects, tests and releases all incoming raw materials used in production as well as completes finished product design testing. The position is responsible for auditing Cambria quality functions and processes by performing tests and monitoring adherence to defined procedures and specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete visual inspection of incoming raw materials
- Test and release all incoming raw materials for use in production
- Communicate test results and ensure non-conforming material is processed appropriately
- Complete finished product design testing
- Set up and maintain laboratory test equipment
- Input the status of raw materials into the Oracle computer system
- Clean and maintain all equipment in the lab
- Complete all paperwork in a timely manner and communicate any issues at the shift transition
- Keep work area clean and orderly
- Perform job duties safely as outlined in the Quality Control Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Additional duties as assigned by management
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to read and write in English to complete required documentation
- Basic computer skills
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: N/A
Systems: N/A
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control software
- Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
- Basic math skills
- Industrial work experience
Managerial Responsibilities: N/A
Travel Requirements: Travel as needed within a 15-mile radius
Physical Requirements:
- Handle chemicals
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaks
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria
- Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises
- Occasionally work in a non-climate controlled environment
- Bend over multiple times throughout shift

- Steel toed boots

- Cut-proof gloves
- Respirator
- Latex gloves
