Job Overview

As the Sales Operations Administrator at Cambridge Computer Services, you will be a key member of our sales operations team, responsible for coordinating and facilitating the administrative aspects of our sales processes.

 

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee the day to day maintenance and integrity of the CRM data
  • Formulate, document and evangelize best practices for the sales and technical teams when interacting with internal and external systems with feedback from leadership
  • Train new employees and provide ongoing training on CRM best practices
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and our CRM developer to scope, test and document new CRM functionality
  • Lead data cleanup initiatives, both as an individual contributor and by packaging cleanup projects for the sales support team
  • Maintain and update the CRM end user documentation
  • Test new features and functionality added to the CRM
  • Organize pending new feature and functionality requests and provide status updates on items in process
  • Assist with coordination of publishing new versions of the CRM software and documentation to production 
  • Assist sales management in the lead disbursement process, including cross-checking lists against the CRM, setting up new clients, and assuring best practices are followed
  • Assist sales management in sales initiatives by leveraging CRM data
  • Inspect data at critical points in the sales process (i.e. when a technical resource is requested or when a customer meeting happens) and follow up with team members to get quality updates and drive best practices
  • Support leadership in organizing meetings, travel arrangements, and other administrative tasks to enhance their productivity.
  • Serve as an extended resource to clients and vendor partners
  • Additional related duties may be added at managers discretion

Qualifications 

  • University undergraduate degree required. 
  • Candidate must have 2 years professional experience in sales administrator, sales operations or a related role
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools required.
  • Experience in CRM development, administration or deployment preferred.
  • Understanding of technology and the IT ecosystem is preferred.
  • Comfortable presenting to large groups
  • Although the expectation is that this role will be on site, there may be times when work will be done outside the office.  Accordingly, the employee must be able to work remotely, independently, and unsupervised.
  • Candidates must have impeccable communications skills, an ability to multitask, and high attention to detail.  They must be proactive in their approach, effective problem solvers, organized, creative, deal with ambiguity, and able to work with different types of personalities.
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis is required.

Estimated Salary Range

$50k - $80k per year
