Job Posting for Loan Portfolio Quality Control Specialist at Cambridge Trust Company
Summary: Reviews loan portfolio to validate that it performs according to the collateral documents and ensure data integrity of highest quality. Performs regulatory and operational risk reviews. Assist in special project integration, implementation and testing. Responsibilities:
Routinely performs reviews of all new loan types to ensure accuracy of all loan data as dictated by source documents
Performs daily maintenance crosscheck with source and supporting documentation to ensure accurate changes and appropriate controls
Test system changes to ensure accuracy: interest rate resets, index rate updates, etc.
Perform loan-level testing as needed to support the overall portfolio quality
Review processes to ensure compliant to loan servicing state and federal regulations and internal quality control policy & procedures
Test release of collateral on loans to ensure accuracy; paid off loan
Set ups loan deficiency notifications. Monitors all required regulatory and operational risks on a timely basis
Monitors adherence to all SOX controls
Assist in special projects as needed
All others duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Associates degree or equivalent work experience required
Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in the Loan Mortgage and Commercial Servicing environment
Knowledge loan servicing regulations, operational processes and residential and commercial collateral loan documents
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Great communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as a team
Ability to manage hard deadlines
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
Normal office environment
Frequent sitting and standing at a desk
Heavy keyboard use
