Provision of a clinical education program to orient, train and evaluate student Radiology Technologists.
Responsibilities
• Recommend and prepare curriculum, instructor lesson plans, visual aids, student instructional handouts, and summary material. • Conduct classes and demonstration sessions in technical aspects of radiography and related theory and conducts student evaluation. • Develop and implement an inservice program designed to orient, train, and continue the educational development of staff technologists, technical aides and patient transporters. • Establish criteria and maintain records for evaluating the educational program and assigns and supervises activities of student technologists. • Instruct radiation protection and the safe handling of patients receiving radioactive materials.

Specifically the employee must be able to demonstrate competency in: 1) ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs; 2) knowledge of growth and development; and 3) understanding of the range of treatment needed by the patients. Perform related duties as assigned.
Education
• Bachelor's Degree (Required) Education: Degree preferred in Radiologic Technology Experience: 2 YEARS Post-certification experience as a professional radiographer
