The VP of IT (VP) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of information technology (IT) systems and infrastructure for the company. This includes managing IT projects, ensuring data security and compliance, and leading a team of IT professionals. The VP partners with the CEO, the Executive Leadership Team, and other key leaders to provide vision and leadership for the company's IT systems and infrastructure, developing and implementing information technology initiatives to support innovation and efficiencies in conjunction with the overall business growth strategies. The VP leads all areas of IT including infrastructure/operations, information and cybersecurity, enterprise applications/integration, testing, software engineering, and strategic delivery. The VP reports to the CFO.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and implement the company's technology strategy in alignment with business objectives and strategies.
- Collaborate with leadership to align technology with business priorities.
- Identify opportunities for technological advancements to enhance productivity, efficiency, innovation, and security.
- Provide strong leadership to the IT team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's technology infrastructure, and software systems.
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of all IT systems.
- Develop and implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect the organization's assets, including data, networks, and systems from cyber threats.
- Stay abreast of emerging security threats and technologies to proactively address risks.
- Along with the business leaders, drive digital transformation initiatives to leverage technology for competitive advantage. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve customer experiences, and optimize business operations..
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and consultants.
- Negotiate contracts, oversee service level agreements, and ensure that vendors deliver high-quality services and solutions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in IT governance.
- Establish and enforce policies and procedures to safeguard data privacy and integrity.
- Mentor and develop team members to maximize their potential and contribution to the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred or equivalent IT certifications.
- At least 10 years of working experience in a senior IT leadership role, with a track record of success in driving IT initiatives and achieving business results.
- Demonstrated record of successfully leading organizations and teams through complex IT ERP changes
- Demonstrated success in developing, implementing, and maintaining IT solutions that align with business objectives.
- Strong technical knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, security, data management, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the company.
- Experience recommending and implementing new technologies or technology enhancements to improve customer delivery, reduce costs, and/or to provide a strategic advantage.
- Understanding of next-gen technologies to grow the business capabilities, such as Ai,
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
