We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Loan Officer to join our team. As a Loan Officer, you will be responsible for assisting clients in obtaining loans and providing exceptional customer service throughout the loan process. Job Description: Sales skills and great speaking skills needed with a sense of tech and or arm use. Will be working out of one of two locations from time to time.
Duties:
- Evaluate loan applications and determine the eligibility of borrowers
- Collect and analyze financial information to assess the creditworthiness of applicants
- Guide clients through the loan application process, explaining loan options and terms
- Collaborate with underwriters to ensure timely processing and approval of loans
- Maintain a thorough understanding of loan products, interest rates, and industry regulations
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other referral sources
- Assist clients in gathering necessary documentation for loan applications
- Provide regular updates to clients on the status of their loan applications
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Loan Officer or similar role in the financial services industry
- Strong knowledge of loan underwriting principles and practices
- Familiarity with escrow processes and accounting software
- Excellent mathematical skills to accurately calculate interest rates, payments, and fees
- Exceptional sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
