LOCATION

We operate a smart working policy, and candidates have the option of working full-time in our office, based in Parma, fully remote, or hybrid (part on-site, part remote). This is a permanent, full-time position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, data scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders, to analyse and define requirements for data products.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of business objectives, user needs, and technical feasibility to provide insights and recommendations for data product development.
  • Run EDAs and statistical analyses on large amounts of data, and identify approaches to build AI systems for the optimization of the power distribution infrastructure.
  • Work closely with product owners to identify and prioritize feature requirements, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and customer expectations.
  • Leverage your expertise in AI and machine learning techniques to identify opportunities for incorporating advanced analytics and predictive models into data products.
  • Create clear and concise documentation, including technical requirements.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in AI, ML and data analytics, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance the company's data product offerings.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3 years) as a Data Scientist or similar role involving requirements analysis for data products.
  • Solid understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, algorithms, and techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis and manipulation using tools such as Python, SQL, or similar.
  • Familiarity with data visualization techniques and tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to dissect complex problems and propose innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
