Data Systems Administrator

Reports to: Associate Director of Development (ADD)
Summary/Objective: The Data Systems Administrator is a member of Camp Korey’s Advancement team and performs a variety of complex duties associated with a highly confidential gift processing function, ensuring the accuracy of constituent and gift data recorded in the donor database for the purpose of donor, departmental, and institutional reporting. Responsible for implementation, use and maintenance of Raiser’s Edge NXT and supporting the Advancement team in its use.
Essential Functions:
Maintains the development database (Raiser’s Edge) to ensure all gift and constituent information is accurate and current
Processes all gifts and acknowledgements and works with the ADD to reconcile monthly with the Finance Department
Completes database maintenance and clean-up operations including user access, custom field maintenance, duplicate record cleanup, etc.
Imports data to Raiser’s Edge through Omatic software
Works closely with the Advancement team to clarify campaigns, appeals and funds to assure proper set up and timing occurs for support/functionality of annual appeal
Supports Volunteer team with data management including importing volunteer hours into Raiser’s Edge records
Coordinating assignments for Stewardship actions with the Advancement team
Composes drafts of gift acknowledgement and stewardship correspondence to constituency and volunteers as needed, particularly for Raiser’s Edge form acknowledgements and receipts
Works with ADD to provide accurate reports and analytics for data using routine and special queries
Research specific donors through available software and support preparation of prospect profiles
Supports ADD in generating gift reports, gift surveys and reconciliations including regular reports (dashboards and revenue performance)
Monitors pledge payment activity and tracks outstanding annual, capital campaign and special event pledges
Assists with prep, day-of, and debrief of fundraising events
Support with fundraising platform/site technical management including
RE NXT donation and event registration forms

Qualifications:
High School diploma required
Two or more years’ experience in a non-profit setting
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and donor database
Bachelor’s degree preferred, in Data Science, Business, Nonprofit Administration, or other similar
Experience with Raiser’s Edge database or similar CRM

Work Environment:
Work is regularly performed in office environments routinely utilizing standard office equipment, computers and phones.

Position Type/Expected hours of work:
This is a full-time position, averaging 40 hours/week. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, between 8:00 and 4:30 p.m. However, the position requires the ability to work during non-standard hours and on short notice as the need arises.
Travel:
Local and office travel will be required, primarily during the day. Limited out-of-area or overnight travel may be expected.
