Position Overview:
Newly expanded resort spa is seeking additional talented customer-oriented people for our busy spa team. Our Spa Front Desk Leads are responsible for providing exceptional and memorable guest service to all Spa guests while maintaining outstanding professionalism that reflects the Company’s commitment to creating memories for its guests, staff and shareholders. Responsible for ensuring Spa remains pristine in terms of cleanliness and presentation. The Spa Department Lead is responsible for performing all Spa Front Desk functions, as well as select Management responsibilities, including occasional opening, closing or Spa Manager on Duty shifts. Full time and part time positions are available.
Duties & Responsibilities:

- Provide the utmost in guest service to all guests visiting facility
- Manage phone activity including providing general spa and resort knowledge to callers.
- Answer inquiries regarding spa services, retail products and appointments by email, by telephone and in person.
- Manage walk-in traffic. Smile and greet guests in a welcoming manner.
- Scheduling spa services to guests, as well as sell retail items.
- Check in and check out spa guests professionally.
- Verify that the correct charges and credits are posted
- Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority
- Follow security and safety standards at all times.
- Maintain and ensure front desk, lobby, locker rooms and amenity areas are neat, organized and appealing and presentable to guests.
- Ensure all cash and cash equivalents are accounted for and balanced at the beginning and end of each work shift.
- Other duties may be assigned
Job Requirements:

- Work with the entire spa team to help maintain the flow of spa guests throughout the day
- Self-starter, innovator, results-driven with ability to meet both short and long term business goals
- Ability to manage time well, meet imposed deadlines and ability to work flexible hours
- Proven problem solving skills with ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.
- The position may also require the ability to lift over 50 pounds occasionally.
- This position requires the ability to stand, and, walk, 4 to 5 hours at a time, climb stairs, reach, and bend.
- Opening and/or closing of the spa duties.
- High degree of professional and personal integrity
Education & Experience
- One (1) to (2) years guest service experience in a Spa, Hotel or similar service-oriented business model preferred
- High school diploma or GED and two years guest service experience preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Previous experience in night audit or account reconciliation helpful
- Cash-handling experience preferred.
Must have open availability to include weekends as needed.
