Our very busy children's camp is seeking a skilled and passionate Assistant Chef to join our culinary team. As an Assistant Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen and deliver exceptional dining experiences to our campers and staff. ```Responsibilities```
- Assist the Head Chef in food preparation and cooking
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service
- Help maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Support menu planning and development
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist in training and supervising kitchen staff
- Contribute creative ideas for new dishes and menu improvements
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
```Requirements```
- Previous experience in a large-scale and fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food management principles and techniques
- Familiarity with menu planning and recipe development
- Strong understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating delicious dishes
-An understanding of Spanish is a plus in applying
