We are currently looking for Office Staff Members to join our summer team! Camp Walt Whitman, a co-ed, traditional New England sleep-away camp is located on beautiful Lake Armington in New Hampshire's White Mountains. Camp Walt Whitman is one of the premier children's summer camps in the nation.

First and foremost, we are looking for people who love working with kids! Camp Counselors with us must have a strong work ethic, be a team player and have the ability to look out for the safety and well- being of those in their care. Experience working with children and having previous leadership opportunities are a definite plus.
In this office position - you'd be working in a small team ensuring that camp is running smoothly.
Daily tasks for this position:
- Sorting Mail.
- Answering phone calls.
- Helping campers call home during their scheduled time.
- Passing information to the correct locations at camp.
- Running "missions" outside of camp - (driving into town to pick things up, etc.)
A little background of camp: We have over 30 activities across our four key areas of Outdoors (hiking, biking, ropes course, nature), Waterfront (wakeboard, waterski, swim, sail and boat driving), Arts (crafts, ceramics, woodshop, photography, theatre) and Athletics (baseball, softball, basketball, tennis, golf, lacrosse, soccer, dance, hockey, gymnastics, archery and MORE!). The vast majority of our campers are with us for a full 7 weeks so you get a great chance to see your 12 campers develop throughout the summer.

Competitive Salary plus a travel stipend and includes room and board. Many of our staff, from a variety of majors, have been able to gain internship credit through their school.
COVID Testing will be performed upon entry into camp. Vaccines are required for all staff and campers for summer 2022.
