Softball Instructor and Camp Counselor

Spend an incredible summer working with kids at Camp Zeke! Camp Zeke celebrates healthy, active living through whole foods, sports, fitness and culinary arts! We are located on 560 serene acres in Northeastern, PA and have campers ages 7-17.

While Camp Zeke is a Jewish camp, our staff come from all different backgrounds.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Responsible for the well-being of campers & showing them an amazing summer of growth
• Live in a cabin with up to twelve campers and three co-counselors

• Act as coach/instructor for our softball/baseball program
• As the softball/ baseball coach, you will be responsible for developing a curriculum in cooperation with the head of sports, that is appropriate to the varying ages and abilities of our campers. This should include skill-building drills, rules of the game, and work on techniques, as well as organizing and playing actual games.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Work from June 19th to August 9th and live onsite at our camp in Northeastern, PA
• Passion for summer camp and working with kids
• Experience working with kids is a big plus, ideally in a camp setting
• Must be a high school graduate as of June 2022
• Must have prior experience either teaching or participating in baseball.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $1,300.00 - $1,900.00 per year
