Tennis coach and counselor

Spend an incredible summer working with kids at Camp Zeke! Camp Zeke celebrates healthy, active living through whole foods, sports, fitness, and culinary arts! We are located on 560 serene acres in Northeastern, PA, and have campers ages 7-17.

Tennis coach and counselor at sleepaway camp responsibilities:

• Counselors live in a cabin with up to twelve campers and three co-counselors.
• Responsible for the well-being of the campers & showing them an amazing summer of growth
• As the tennis coach, you will be responsible for developing a curriculum in cooperation with the head of sports, which is appropriate to the varying ages and abilities of our campers. This should include stretching techniques, warm-ups, skill-building drills, as well as training in forehand, backhand, lob, serve, and volley.
• Ensuring a positive, fun experience for all campers

Tennis coach and counselor at sleepaway camp requirements:

• Work from June 19th to August 8th and live onsite at our camp in Northeastern, PA
• Enthusiastic, motivated attitude
• Passion for summer camp and working with kids
• Experience working with kids is a big plus, ideally in a camp setting
• Must be high school graduate as of June 2023
• Must have prior experience in tennis as a player or coach (you should know the game inside and out. If you are someone who has just played a few times in their life, then you would be better suited for a different role at camp)
