Pay rate: $15.74 to $16.00 DOE
Position type: Variable hours – health benefits after 1 year and 1456 hours worked.

Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 16 years of age.
- Must have enough English language skills to take direction, communicate and perform job standards.
- Enthusiastic awareness of sanitation. Understand that the dish washer's job is an important part of the kitchen operation.
- Demonstrated responsibility and stability.
- Ability to take direction and contribute to a team atmosphere.
- Ability to handle tight deadlines and maintain composure under stress.
- A current Food Handler's permit is required within 14 days of hire.
- Self-motivated: can find work to do without constant supervision.
- Able to maintain a positive mental attitude.
Physical Requirements:
- Constant standing and walking.
- Occasional pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, lifting and stooping.
- Able to safely lift 50 pounds.
- Occasional stair climbing.
Essential Functions:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Follow written ware washing guidelines to produce sanitized, clean and sparkling dishes, pots, pans and utensils.
- Maintain and sanitize all related equipment.
- Safely move dishes and supplies, which requires lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Change dish water every two hours. Keep detergents filled and operating.
- Clear pans from the hot line as needed. Assist with banquet breakdown when and where needed.
- Responsible for removing garbage from all kitchen areas, and placing it in designated areas for collection.
- Clean as you go. Maintain cleanliness of counters, appliances and equipment.
- Look for things to clean, and do it. Sweep and mop floors, and clean kitchen walk-ins and walls. Perform special cleaning projects as assigned.
- Arrive on time and be ready to work when your shift begins.
- Wear a clean uniform and maintain a clean, well-groomed, neat appearance.
- Ask for help when you need it.
- Act as a role model for employees at all time.
- Help control waste, labor and food costs.
- Identify problems and recommend solutions to the lead line cook or the chef.
- Help enforce internal security, suggest improvements to managers.
During slow times you will also assist in the following:
- Prepare line ingredients by washing and chopping fruits, vegetables, and cutting meat.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a variable-hour position, expected work hours are based on seasonal volume, business demand, and hours of operation. Weekends and holidays are also necessary. Must be flexible and willing to adapt schedule to meet business demands.
