JOB TITLE : Part-Time Truck Loader NO Richmond
BUSINESS UNIT : Campbell Snacks

GRADE / LEVEL : Hourly
GENERAL SUMMARY :
Manual loading of product cases in truck trailers. Keep pace with order pullers. Normal schedule is 10 : 00 pm to about 6 : 00 am, approximately 3 shifts per week.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sweep and prepare trailer prior to loading.
Lift and remove cases of product from pallets and stack correctly in trailers per the order load sheet. Must have physical capacity to bend downward to load from floor level up and reach up to load trailer to ceiling level.
Product weights range from 10 to 25 lbs / case. Trailer loads range from 1500 to 3000 cases per trailer; loading standard is to load 450 cases per hour.
Load cases with the labels facing the rear of the trailer.
Verify that load counts and products match order paperwork and complete Trailer Row Count Sheet. At the end of each load stop, report the case count to Lead and sign off on the Master Shipment Sheet at the end of the load.
Work efficiently to keep pace with order pullers while ensuring case contents maintain quality specifications (no breakage).
Safely move, place, or stack pallets as needed.
Other assignments include unloading cases from trailers and stacking on to pallets for storage in warehouse.
When pallet is empty inspect and sort pallet based on condition. Good pallets are stacked for reuse and bad pallets are stacked upside down in a different pile.
Must comply with all safety and quality good manufacturing practices guidelines.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED : Must have obtained high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED) : Shipping experience helpful.
