We are looking for an Accounting Assistant, who is responsible for reporting, prepare deposits and reconcile bank accounts for our locations.

Essential Job Functions

- Prepare and verify daily reports
- Prepare daily income/sales and prepare daily journal entry
- Prepare daily deposits of ticket sales receipts
- Reconcile bank account for ticketing office
- Communicate with ticketing managers and others working on the ticketing systems problems
- Prepare authorized refund vouchers
- Compile monthly reports
- Investigate and collect returned items
- Maintain returned check account
- Maintain charge back account
- Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules
Qualifications

Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Two year degree preferred

Experience:
- 1-2 years of accounting experience

Abilities:
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
- Competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers
- Well organized
- Ability to bed or sit for long periods of time
- Ability to be able to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a climate-controlled environment
- Ability to continuously engage in visual activities, such as use of computer, files, and reports
