Campers Inn RV is looking for a Lot Porter! This role is responsible for maintaining the appearance of the new and used RV lots, including the cleanliness of the RV’s and the general appearance of the sales area.

Essential Job Functions

- This is a safety sensitive position
- Transport RV’s to and from service bays, stores, gas stations, repair facilities, and locations
- Keeps new- and used-vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving RV's as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards
- Make a daily inspection of showroom and service entrance doors and wash as necessary
- Keep units in a “sale-ready” condition
- Keep sidewalk along street free debris
- Maintain Dealership premises as directed by Supervisor/Manager
- Detail and make units ready for delivery, assist with pre-delivery inspections
- Fill vehicles with gas
Qualifications

Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required

License & Certifications:
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record is required

Experience:
- A minimum of one year detailing experience preferred
- Experience in RV or automotive dealership environment is preferred

Abilities:
- Ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Pride of workmanship and follow-through are essential
- Commitment to superior customer service
- Ability to work independently as well as on a team
- Ability to drive a tractor and other towing vehicles
- Ability to safely handle solvents and chemicals
- Ability to navigate other risks associated with working around machines, tools, and RVs
- Ability to move RVs of various sizes
- Ability to organize various physical tasks through adjusting, climbing ladders, connecting, lifting, pulling, pushing, or bending
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
