What are the responsibilities and job description for the Benefits/Leave of Absence Specialist position at Camping World?
Camping World is seeking a Benefits Specialist with leave and accommodations experience to provide support to our team members on our benefit programs. This position is located at 2 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire, Hybrid schedule 3 days onsite.
What You’ll Do:
Vendor Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations, issues and management of health and welfare vendors.
- Own the participant experience and escalated participant issues; resolve escalated participant issues and determine root cause for improvement opportunities
- Regularly review and provide feedback on vendor websites, vendor call scripts & resources and vendor apps
- Understands business, program and process objectives and provides clear direction to vendors regarding upcoming activities or changes
- Lead and manage the implementation of new programs or benefit changes
- Conduct regular call listening sessions with the vendors listed above, if available
- Support other projects as necessary
LOA/Accommodations
- Provide day-to-day support on processes, policies and procedures
- Maintain knowledge of all applicable laws (FMLA, USERRA, Federal and State regulations); be the subject matter expert on all leave programs
- Partner with stakeholders on sensitive and complicated LOA matters (Legal, HR, Compliance)
- Maintain data in HRIS system with speed and accuracy
Process and Innovation
- Recommend new tools, processes, and procedures to continually improve the LOA process and operation of the benefits programs, improve participant experience and drive greater participant satisfaction
- Execute projects quickly, with strong attention to detail and follow-through

- Passionate about leave of absence administration and about enhancing the participant experience including enrollment, point-of-service utilization and access to timely information that is consistent and delivered effectively from all benefit vendors

General Compensation Disclosure
The pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Camping World, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors stated. A reasonable estimate of the current range is listed below.
Pay Range:
$59,745.00-$80,000.00 Annual
