What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Researcher position at Campos?
Campos is seeking an energetic, data-driven Senior Researcher who is passionate about market research and can thrive in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. An excellent candidate will have experience designing and fielding surveys, cleaning/analyzing/visualizing data, and using research findings to answer clients’ strategic questions.
This position will report to the Vice President of Research and will work closely with Campos strategists on projects designed to optimize customer experiences, strengthen brands, refine new products, improve marketing and advertising effectiveness, and forecast demand for products and services.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Participating in the research planning process to help design methodologies based on client needs and objectives.
Strategically designing surveys that will produce the research insights needed to meet project objectives.
Programming and fielding surveys, as well as managing in-field success.
Cleaning, preparing, and visualizing survey data with tools including Qualtrics, Tableau, Alteryx, R, and Excel.
Performing more advanced statistical techniques, such as segmentations, driver analyses, forecasting, etc.
Analyzing survey and other data to identify key research insights related to project objectives.
Working with project teams to translate research insights into actionable recommendations for clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, market research, psychology, social sciences, mathematics, economics or related.
3 years working in a research-oriented role, or equivalent (undergraduate or graduate lab experience is acceptable).
Experience with tools used for survey programming, data preparation, and data visualization (Qualtrics, Survey Monkey, SPSS, Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
Experience with designing surveys to produce the insights needed to meet project objectives
Experience with identifying key research insights related to a client’s needs and project objectives.
Excellent communication and organizational skills - this position requires discussing statistical concepts with non-technical audiences
