Filling in for leave of absence but could go long term contract/direct
- With direct guidance in a team environment, responsible for performing basic inspection requirements.
- Manager prefers someone with quality inspection experience in aerospace and metals, but will consider other industries in the manufacturing world or those that are highly regulated.
- Medical inspection is permissible, although not preferred to oil/gas, automotive, rail, etc.
- Please note any specific names of inspection forms the inspector is used to working from in the past on their resume.
- One year inspection or related inspection experience in aerospace or raw metal manufacturing/production environments.
- Demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities.
- May be asked to become certified as a Level 1 Nondestructive Test Inspector (not at cost to employee) in magnetic particle inspection and/or liquid penetrate inspection. The certification must be in accordance with MIL-STD-410 and PES1-29.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, manufacturer's specifications and internal drawings and procedures.
- Ability to use and/or calibrate mechanical, hydraulic and electrical instruments/gages.
- Possess working knowledge of machine shop mathematics.
- May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
