This position reports to the Facility Director
Skills and knowledge required:
Knowledge of and ability to apply management principles and techniques; knowledge of juvenile court/detention policies and systems; knowledge of recovery principles and practices; considerable knowledge of the resources abatable to client population; analytical skills; interpersonal skills; oral and written communication skills; clinical skills; ability to develop strategic plans; ability to collaborate within department, agency and community. Able to perform critical thinking and apply high-level decision-making skills in a timely manner. Able to identify gaps and implement solutions. Serves as link between Facility Director and staff. Must work well with minimal supervision.
Prior experience required:
Three years of general experience must have been at a managerial capacity directing operations or the delivery of related treatment services.
Personal qualities:
Individual must have sufficient interpersonal skills in order to work closely with professional peers, vendors and other agencies. Must be able to demonstrate regulation during times of crisis.
Amount of travel and other special conditions or requirements:
Travel may be required in order to obtain job-related training
Work Schedule:
Required a minimum of 40-hour work week; Available for on-call and crisis situation.
