What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service/Cashier position at Canalside Staffing?
We are looking for a customer support representative with exceptional customer service skills by providing product information, researching and entering customer orders. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable working in manufacturing environment. ( this is not a 100% office position )
Temp to Hire
Hours: (During Training) Mon - Fri 6am to 2:30pm; After Training Mon-Fri and weekends few hours on Saturday/Sunday. MUST have weekend availability.
Pay: $17.00/hr
Responsibilities
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Provide assistance to the front store as needed
- Prove assistance to manufacturing floor as needed
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
Skills
- Proven customer support experience or ( Minimum of 2 years )
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office products (required)
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Self starter with positive attitude
