Location: Vancouver, hybrid remote/in-office
We are looking for a UX Designer to join our growing Product team. Reporting to the Acting Director, Client Applications, the ideal candidate will be responsible for designing the client experience across our growing number of product areas. You will work closely with Product Management to support projects with wireframes and process designs. Strong preference for users who have experience designing Windows applications and a willingness to work independently and take ownership of UX-driven projects.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Research and solve design challenges
- Create user process flows, UX designs, wireframes, prototypes, test and validate designs
- Understand product roadmap and business objectives and prioritize accordingly
- Own roadmap projects around user experience
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Marketing on brand experience for consistency throughout client lifecycle and all product areas
- Work with Marketing on decisions around design standards across product areas
- Suggest and implement efficiencies, improvements to workflow and tools
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- 3 years of UX design experience for web and Windows applications
- Strength in data visualization and process design
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to deliver timely, accurate results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work within established deadlines and time constraints
- Can work independently but will also be a strong team player and is self-motivated with a sense of urgency.
