Motion Graphic Designer / Video Designer

Position Summary: This position will conceive, design, and execute motion graphics, special effects, animation, and videos to support the Marketing Department, as well as Polyglass initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops effective video solutions to meet the Company’s digital needs and Marketing goals, from concept through completion.
  • Effectively utilizes the internal digital library, including using assets for re-purposing, color correcting images and archiving graphics in an organized manner.
  • Collaborates with Creative, Marketing, and other departmental teams, on departmental and company initiatives.
  • Films, cuts, edits footage into final video product; working with footage, copy, audio, graphics and effects.
  • Transforms brand assets into high quality, engaging content for use across a variety of platforms (website, social media, trainings, internal and external presentations etc.).
  • Uncovers potential project issues and identifies additional resources necessary to meet or exceed project quality requirements.
  • Reviews and approves all Archiving completed work in appropriate location and in an organized manner.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Fine Arts with concentration in Graphic Design, Video or related.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ work experience with an Advertising or Marketing Agency, or In-House.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of advanced knowledge and experience using the latest Adobe Creative Suite – Graphic Design and Video/Animation programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AfterEffects, Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro)
  • Proficient in web-based tools and Microsoft Applications, including but not limited to: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience using BLENDER preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience using Animation software, such as Adobe Character Animator or similar is preferred.
