FIX C++ Developer

The ideal candidate will work in a highly effective software development team responsible for the engineering and implementation of enhancing Tradeweb’s global trading platform.

Tradeweb Technology jobs are fully remote. The Tradeweb Technology hub is located in our Jersey City office which can be used for team meetings and collaboration efforts.  There may be days where travel to the Jersey City office is recommended for organizational off-sites.

Job Responsibilities

• Ideal candidate will work in highly effective software development team responsible for developing & enhancing Tradeweb’s trading systems/ STP Integration for Fixed Income and Derivatives securities.
• Must have ability to work in a small team with good communication skills and ability to interact with technical team members as well as non-technical business teams.

Required Qualifications: 

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of C experience in Windows or Linux environment utilizing object-oriented techniques, good testing methodology, and high quality. 
• Minimum of 3 years financial industry knowledge. Preferably working with Fixed Income and Derivatives products
• Experience in multi-threading, STL, TCP/IP and Distributed Systems.
• Experience with FIX (FpML a plus).
• Database application development experience utilizing SQL and relational database techniques. MS SQL preferred.

Preferred:

• Experience in STP, post trade, clearing and settlement.
• Experience in java programming a plus.

• The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $120,000 to $240,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule.  The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
