Responsibilities
- Sets and oversees work assignments, schedules, work quality and safety of the manufacturing team.
- Collaborate with production planners, logistics teams, and other departments to develop production schedules and prioritize production orders based on customer demands and inventory levels.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of production workers to achieve daily production goals while maintaining quality standards and safety protocols. Provide guidance, feedback, and performance evaluations to team members.
- Identifies, investigates, and resolves delays in shift operations, ensuring production goals are met.
- Facilitates maintenance and repairs to equipment.
- Coordinate with inventory control teams to maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. Ensure timely replenishment of materials to support production schedules.
- Track production metrics such as yield, cycle times, downtime, and labor efficiency.
- Analyze data and generate reports to monitor performance trends, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
- Drafts, develops, and implements cost-effective manufacturing methods and procedures to ensure that production meets daily and monthly goals.
- Prepares workforce and budget projections based on production forecast.
- Enforce safety regulations and best practices to create a safe working environment for all employees. Conduct regular safety inspections, investigate incidents, and implement preventive measures to reduce risks.
- Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization. Implement lean manufacturing principles, process improvements, and automation solutions as appropriate.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Q*ualifications & Knowledge Required*
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in related area preferred.
- At least two years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in a production or assembly line setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive work culture.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team; "hands on" as necessary.
- Capable of operating in an evolving and often unstructured environment.
- Ability to multi-task and switch gears quickly.
- Lean Manufacturing experience
- Excellent attention to detail.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
