Overview

The Documentation Administrator I (Administrator, Documentn I) will support Canon Financial Services in the purchasing of lease obligations through the direct Canon Channel (Canon Solutions Americas / Canon USA) or the Canon USA authorized Independent dealerships by adhering to the Canon Financial Risk policies and procedures and/or apply sound financial business case to support transactions that fall outside of the policies and procedures set forth by Canon Financial Services.

Responsibilities

- Ability to comprehend /dissect dealer transactions pursuant to the Canon Financial Services operational guidelines - Enter Canon Financial Services into a binding agreement with dealers, equipment end users by issuing Purchase Order Approvals, up to assigned authorities - Successfully track for signing authorities defined by channel operating procedures - Achieve maximum signing authority of $75,000 - Develop core understanding of CPC programs - Validate pricing and MSRP requirements based on channel designation - Develop a high standard of accuracy when performing data input and data validation - Establish the ability to distinguish the differences in the specific Upgrade Program; Upgrade to Return, Upgrade to Keep, Customer buyout; the ability to reconcile the data points when entering into the front end system - Understand the termination process of leases - Understanding of the UCC process and when to file - Develop a general understanding of money movement between leases and the impact to additional areas of Canon (monetary form, data revisions) - Understanding of channel specific Lease documents, determined upon channel assignment - Develop an understanding of rates and yields as to the effect on the profitability to Canon Financial Services - Operate at 100% capacity by the end of training period pursuant to defined KRA; PO Issuance and Booking - Operate at 95% or greater with the quality of work scope defined in the KRA - Uphold a high standard of fairness and ethics in everyday words and actions - Effectively organize and plan work according to organizational needs and defined objectives. Anticipate customer / dealer needs and priorities - Effectively work and collaborate with others toward a common goal. · Perform verbal and signed D&A requests, when applicable to assist teammates

Qualifications

- Ability to articulate problems, solutions and resolutions with all customers and all levels of the organization; with Team Lead or Manager assistance, as needed - Ability to respond appropriately to customer issues and changing conditions - Ability to think outside the box and be resourceful in reaching resolutions - Full Circle problem resolution, working closely with peers, Team Lead and Management - Ability to offer appropriate options and solutions to customer inquiries and issues, with Sr. Doc Admin and/or Team Lead or Manager collaboration, as needed - Ability to lead by example with positive “can do” attitude - Ability to communicate with Customers, Dealers and associates at all levels of the organization in a manner that is reflective of CFS Values - 0-2 years leasing experience - Business Administration Degree preferred - Position requires excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication and keyboarding skills along with the capacity to multi-task in a structured work environment - Must demonstrate strong customer service focus, a proficient understanding and use of basic contracts and legal liability. The ability to recognize questionable documentation which necessitates supervisory involvement - Experience in building and maintaining relationships with contacts to gain knowledge - Strong sales drive and aspiration to win business for Canon Financial Services - Effective communication skills to aid in forming relationships with customers and coworkers - Recognizing and understanding customers' needs and delivering in a manner that exceeds customers' expectations - Operate under aggressive corporate goals - Ability to work extended shifts, weekend and holidays to support the corporate objective, example of hours 8:30AM through 11:00PM, Christmas Eve ,New Year’s Eve, and Thanksgiving holidays - Positive, resilient, determined attitude with proven ability to stay focused on assigned tasks - Ability to communicate in a professional and effective manner in all situations; phone, team meetings, One on One meeting, group discussions, project meetings - General understanding of UCC-1 and UCC-3 processing - Exceed Core volume and quality goals - Ability to process Credit and rebills - Ability to structure non-conventional lease transactions
