Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

The FP&A Manager will be expected to provide financial leadership, direction, and analysis to the operational management teams supporting our business segments. Areas of focus will include budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and other strategic projects to support the business. This role will play a key role in driving functional financial metrics and will work closely with department leadership to provide business insights and drive financial performance. Essential Job Functions:
- Acts as a collaborative partner with the business segment leadership, providing financial and operational intelligence to support continuous improvement
- Take ownership of monthly variance analysis to assist operations and other leaders understand financial results versus budget/prior year.
- Identify and implement process and organizational improvements. Plans and ensures execution of department objectives, including developing and tracking key performance indicators and metrics.
- Demonstrate critical math and analytic skills and a proven ability to execute complicated models to support business growth and understanding
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast paced, quickly changing environment
- Present oral or written reports on complex data analytics with concise simplicity.
- Support segment-specific M&A activities. Execute post-acquisition integration efforts with acquired businesses.
- Significant collaboration with cross-functional business leaders to set segment budgets as part of the annual planning processes.
- Evaluate and maintain proper internal controls and related processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field or equivalent practical experience with 5 years of Finance or FP&A experience
- Skilled at developing relationships with business partners and serving as a partner and strategic advisor
- Detail-oriented and ability to deliver with timeliness and accuracy
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and with senior management
- Solid understanding of budget and GAAP concepts
- Builder mentality - identifies problems quickly and is eager to build solutions from scratch, not just improve on the work of others
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required
- Power BI experience a plus
- Minimal travel

Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or MBA
- Experience supporting SaaS software solution
- Experience with US GAAP, SEC Reporting
- Familiarity with NetSuite
