Junior Cloud DevOps Intern

As a Junior DevOps Intern, you will work closely with our operations team to create and validate automation . This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in infrastructure and monitor (anything) as code, designing solutions, testing methodologies and collaboration within a professional operations/engineering environment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with on-call engineers to design and implement automation
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in accordance with established standards.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Assist in troubleshooting and debugging cloud resource issues.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of script documentation.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Has designed and built a functioning cloud web app with database and authentication
• Have worked in ie. robotics team, integrated components to build something
• Can visualize and think in terms of workflow or data ecosystems, enjoys puzzles
• Strong understanding of programming fundamentals
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Powershell)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience implementing Cloud services, including but not limited to VMs, Virtual Networks, Storage, Encryption and Security

Program Details:

• $21.00/hour
• Program Dates: June 3^rd – August 9^th 
• Fridays off!
• Opportunity to participate with other interns across multiple departments.
