- We have an opening for a full-time ASSISTANT, ACCOUNTING position.
- Location: 1510 E Riverview Drive Phoenix, AZ 85034. Note: online applications accepted only.
- Schedule: F/T: Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Requirement: Must have Accounts Payable, Cash Application, Inventory Control and Database Maintenance experiences.

Summary: Under the guidance of the Accounting Manager, performs duties associated with accounts payable.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Processes vendor payables; prepares and submits payment requests; transfers journal entries.
- Reviews invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
- Enters data into inventory systems; maintains accurate and current information.
- Enters and balances purchasing card receipts.
- Files paid invoices.
- Responds to vendor inquiries.
- Researches and solves payment discrepancies.
- Maintains reports, spreadsheets and accounting files.
- Assists with reporting to support month-end accounting close entries; prepares various account reconciliations.
- Develops and runs queries using Access and Excel.
- Prepares other accounting-related reports and accounting duties as requested.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
