As a front of the house Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for interacting with guest courteously and assisting team members efficiently with a sincere, positive, pleasant and enthusiastic attitude.
Shift Supervisor Duties:
- Run designated FOH shifts.
- Set up shift using the FOH Cantina Laredo systems, make station assignment.
- Supervise food and beverage production and guest service.
- Handle guest complaints on shift and make the General Manager aware of any concerns.
- Check team member side work and deep cleaning assignments.
- The use of Aloha Point-of-sale (POS) terminals and Open Table a plus.
- Take cash outs from servers and bartenders.
- Report team member performance issues to your General Manager.
- Complete shift and daily accounting responsibilities.
- Commitment to quality guest service, and food and beverage knowledge.
- Be personable, self-confident and. Be optimistic and enthusiastic about what you do.
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under verifying degrees of busyness.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Other duties as assigned by your General Manager.
- Supervises Bar in compliance with all local, state and Federal beverage and liquor laws.
- Trains staff on cash handling and credit policies and procedures.
- Trains staff on liquor control policies and procedures.
- Supervises adherence to all liquor control policies and procedures.
- Verifies compliance with all Bar policies, standards, and procedures.
- Maintains standards for bartender and cocktail service.
- Supervises adherence to all cash handling and credit policies and procedures.
- Orders proper amount of product.
- In charge of inventories.
