Position Details
The Speech/Language Pathologist Assistant supports speech and language services under the supervision of the Speech/Language Therapist. They provide direct instruction both in and out of the classroom as well as student screenings. The Speech/Language Pathologist Assistant may make recommendations for accommodations in the classroom. They write student progress reports for those receiving IEP services, which are approved by the Speech/Language Therapist. This position supports the substantially separate classroom as well as some integrated classes.
