About us
Canvas Occasions is a small business in San Francisco Bay Area, CA. We create pop-up glamping accomodations in backyards, at venues, and at campsites.
Our company is seeking outgoing, dependable, and strong Event Staff to assist with our clients' events and campouts. The Event Staff will be responsible for loading up, setting up, tearing down, and unloading back at our warehouse. This process is physically demanding and requires Event Staff be able to lift 50 pounds as well as stay moving on your feet for up to 6 hours. Event Staff are also required to engage in a professional and friendly manner with clients. This position can give employees experience in the events industry and can offer growth opportunities. Event Staff that thrive will have the opportunity to become event leads or assist in other parts of the business (event planning, social media, photography, travel jobs, etc). No experience is required, just a positive attitude, strength, and desire to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Be available to work at various times during the days of Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
- Be punctual and reliable.
- Have great customer service skills and a friendly and positive demeanor.
- Can follow instructions and adapt to new situations.
- Keep a positive tone while giving and receiving direction in a fast moving environment.
- Lead other staff with encouragement and clear instruction.
- Be somewhat athletic, be able to lift heavy supplies, work quickly, be comfortable with loading, unloading, and lots of walking without breaks during a 4-6 hour shift.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
