Assistant District Engineer
Canyon Highway District No. 4 (CHD4) is seeking an experienced civil engineer to lead development and construction of capital projects, transportation planning programs, and manage impact fee programs in Southwest Idaho. Qualified applicants will have a licensure as a professional engineer in Idaho, and a minimum of 4 years experience in transportation design and project management. Preference will be given to candidates with 7 years experience and a record of public project development and implementation.
Primary duties will include planning, design, and construction of capital projects, administration of impact fee funding programs, development and maintenance of capital improvement plans, and inter-agency coordination in support of expanding the existing transportation system to support one of the fastest growing regions in the nation. The position will also support roadway, bridge, and drainage maintenance programs, and assist in managing development entitlements.
