CAP Carpet, Inc. is searching for a skilled purchasing agent with at minimum a high school education. The Central Purchasing Agent role starts at $17.00/hr with higher pay potential depending on experience. Your day will be spent doing the following:

• Position hours are in office 8AM to 5PM Monday through Friday in a team focused office environment.
• 100% computer based with 30% phone calls according to orders needs.
• Creating and placing all specialty and stocking inventory purchase orders utilizing a detailed email format process and coordinating data entry in various company computer programs.
• Ensuring orders are executed and received according to placement and promise dates, including following up/resolving and missed confirmations, deadlines or errors in communication. Occasional transfer of goods necessary.

Qualified candidates please highlight the below preferred qualifications when applying for this role:

Two years of detail data entry and data analysis with responsibility for accuracy

Good working knowledge of computer use in a Windows environment.

Ability to prioritize and plan work activities; use time efficiently; and work within deadlines.

Clear and succinct team focused communicator in email and phone calls.

Any experience using RFMS, Titan, Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office programs.
