The Role
We are looking for site reliability engineers who want to play a key part in supporting the evolution of the Financial Services industry one project at a time. You will be expected to be a strong team player who prides themselves on delivering modern, first-class cloud-based platforms through practicing best in class Agile, DevOps and reliability engineering ways of working.
Skills & Expertise:
Required Skills:
- Strong experience within public cloud infrastructure, services and architecture in one of the following, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Solid experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines such as; Jenkins, Azure DevOps, ArgoCD or Gitlab
- Infrastructure as Code practises and technologies proficiency, such us Terraform
- Container technologies at scale hands on experience, could be Kubernetes, Openshift or cloud provider specific native technologies
- Fluency with observability frameworks and technologies, such as; cloud provider native, Splunk, ELK, Prometheus or Jaeger
- Hands on scripting on achieving toil elimination automation and operational efficiencies in either; Python, Ansible or similar
- Compliance and security as Code techniques and ideally built in by design
- Prior experience from an operations engineering unit of large-scale systems
Desired Skills:
- Have worked with any of the following frameworks; release engineering, reliability engineering, business continuity and operational readiness
- Service scalability and resiliency assessments experience
- Good practises knowledge on defining and automatically monitor and report on SLAs, SLOs, SLIs, MTTR and Error Budget
- Good understanding of IT Service Management process engineering
- Prior industry experience within Banking, Wealth/Asset Management or Insurance is highly desirable, but not mandatory.
