We are searching for a talented, motivated & energetic server to join our growing team at the Cape Cod Coffee! We are looking for someone with exceptional customer service & a positive attitude who is interested in learning about our coffee and our company! The right candidate will have a neat appearance and an engaging, friendly personality. If you are efficient, observant & knowledgeable, you're the one for the job.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers with a positive attitude and answer any questions they may have
• Take customers food and drink order with a positive attitude
• Ensure that all orders are accurate and brought to the table in a timely manner
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner
• Clear and properly clean and set tables between uses
• Ensure tables are enjoying their meals & work with management to immediately address all customer concerns and maintain a pleasant dining experience
• Collect payment from customers in a timely manner
• Knowledge of the menu with the ability to make suggestions
• Knowledge of our coffee blends, roasts, flavors & seasonal flavors with the ability to make suggestions
• Knowledge of our brand, all of our locations and events happening throughout the company

Qualifications:

• Excellent people skills and a positive attitude
• Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast paced environment while exceeding customer's expectations
• Able to be on your feet for extended periods of time
• Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised
• Able to communicate efficiently and effectively with the rest of the team, especially the kitchen and other waitstaff
• 2 years restaurant serving experience is preferred
• Familiarity with the Toast POS system is a plus
