Position: Dog Trainer
Summary: Seeking an experienced dog trainer to fill full-time position with a growing company. Responsibilities include providing current training methodologies and practices to clients while maintaining professionalism and company’s vision.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall health and well-being of the dog in your care
Responsible for the training plan and execution for each dog
Responsible for the daily and weekly maintenance of dog kennels and areas
Must frequently report to management and be available during normal hours of operation
Responsible for the instruction for private 1-on-1 lessons
Responsible for traveling to various locations for training obligations
Requirements:
- Dog training experience (2 years or more)
- Reliable transportation & drivers license
- Communication skills
- Deep understanding of canine behavior
- Experience with canine aggression & reactivity
- Ability to work alone and adapt to team related tasks when required
- Be able to provide references
Other Details:
Job will be salary based with the potential to earn commission rates after probationary period and based on performance. Position will require an inconsistent schedule and will require all applicants to be willing to adjust accordingly.Potential for growth in the company is very high.
