Position Summary:
Plans, coordinates ad administers community outreach programs and activities for the health system.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
A minimum of five years of experience in the area of media productions or media/public relations that includes promoting initiative and services, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. Three to four years experience in digital media, broadcast production, marketing, public relations, or a related discipline is required. Experience in public health or healthcare is preferred. Ability to work with significant autonomy required. Ability to perform diverse tasks within tight deadlines without sacrificing accuracy and quality required. Ability to work well with others on a team required. Thorough knowledge of video scriptwriting, production, lighting and editing required. Must be able to direct video productions. Ability to light, film and edit video productions preferred.
Required Education, Licenses, and Certifications:
- High School Diploma or GED

- Associate's Degree
Must be able to handle emotional and mental demands of working under pressure of deadlines. Must be able to hear and speak clearly in order to interact with the public at health fairs and other events. Requires mobility to work in all areas of the medical center. Visual acuity required for directing, filming and editing video productions. Must be able to lift boxes and packages weighing 25 pounds. Must be able to carry video equipment weighing 25 pounds for long periods of time when filming.
