JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working knowledge of all aspects of the EtCetera Shop operation (inventory, pricing, procedures).
- Maintains and is responsible for all monies collected along with daily receipts.
- Monitors and assigns work to volunteers and Asst. Managers while performing all the tasks of a Manager.
- Trains, explains tasks and assists new volunteers.
- Reports all pertinent information to Manager and/or Director of Volunteers.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Pleasant telephone voice/manner.
- Ability to operate cash register sufficiently to perform the job.
- Knowledge of basic thrift shop operation.
- Should possess the initiative and ability to set and achieve high standards of performance. Ability to learn specific job duties and complete work assignments.
- Ability to perform the manipulation of numbers and basic math calculations.
- Ability to life and carry heavy objects: approximately 30 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to extend arms and hands, reaching for specific objects in local working areas.
- Ability to grasp and hold specific objects.
EDUCATION
- High school education or equivalent.
