JOB DESCRIPTION

• Functions as a clinical subject matter expert during legacy data archive and Epic electronic medical record implementation.
• Assists project operational leaders and communicates with Epic and Cooper University representatives as needed to support the EMR implementation.
• Functions as primary clinical subject matter expert for validation and testing phase of legacy data archive project.
• Attends project meetings and communicates with project team and vendor as necessary.
• Works as a team member with other technical staff.
• Maintains relationships with IT coworkers and customer and vendor team members.
• Fosters teamwork and creates an atmosphere conducive to working together as a group.
• Complies with all Health System and IT policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and supports hospital and IT mission, vision, and value statements.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Ability to work logically and independently in an organized fashion is required.
• Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and able to meet deadlines while working on multiple assignments under time constraints.
• Ability to utilize analytical thinking skills to solve problems and to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing is required.
• Interpersonal skills must be well-developed.
• High level of interaction with other team members and end-users is required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Associates or Bachelor Degree or active pursuit of same in the field of Computer Science.
• Information Systems Management, Nursing or Allied Health Profession or equivalent preferred.
