What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Dietitian position at Cape Regional Health System?
Performs nutritional assessments of patients appropriate to population specific nutrition concerns and documents progress and plans in medical record. Plans, organizes, implements, evaluates and documents nutrition education for patients; arranges for individual patient follow-up as needed. Participates in Quality Improvement process. Performs inservices, workshops and other educational services. Participates in multiple disciplinary team conferences to evaluate patient status and plan care. Communicates effectively with supervisors, health care team members and subordinates. Exhibits a productive workstyle and is accountable and responsible in actions and decisions. Meets established deadlines for follow up documentation, responding to consults. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Registered Dietitian or eligible for Registration with American Dietetic Association Commission Dietetic Registration. Previous experience as a clinical dietitian in a health care facility preferred. Knowledge of nutritional requirements for all stages of life.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
