All Sogeti USA prospective candidates must:
Bachelors and/or Masters Degree from an accredited institution.
Be a US Citizen or a current permanent resident Green Card holder. Sponsorship now or in the future is unable to be provided for this role.
Be currently residing in the Chicagoland area. Non-local candidates will NOT be considered as onsite will eventually be required.
Willingness to travel/commute throughout the entire Chicagoland area possibly including to as Far North as Waukegan, once allowable.
You will build software using languages and technologies of .NET framework. You will create applications from scratch, configure existing systems and provide user support. In this role, you should be able to write functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects. You should be a team player and excellent communicator. You should be passionate about .NET framework and software design/architecture. Your goal will be to work with internal teams to design, develop and maintain software.
We are looking for a bright minded, self-motivated, teamplayer with a strong background and skilled with a high degree of intellectualcuriosity and abilities with:
Participating in requirements analysis.
Collaborating with internal teams to produce software design and architecture.
Writing clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.
Testing and deploying applications and systems.
Revising, updating, refactoring and debugging code.
Improving existing software.
Developing documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
Serving as an expert on applications and providing technical support.
Technical SkillsRequirements:
Proven experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer.
Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (Model-View-Controller (MVC))
Knowledge of .NET languages (C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML/CSS.
Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC).
Understanding of Agile methodologies.
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Attention to detail.
