Role Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise defining and implementing Testing Standards, Test Automation, Testing Methodologies, Testing Processes, Tools, and Techniques across multiple agile teams in a Line of Business.
- Ensure the development teams adhere to the principles, guidelines and best practices of the QE strategy as defined.
- Introduce continuous QE improvements including usage of appropriate testing tools (functional, performance, code quality, static analysis), test techniques, test automation.
- Develop and monitor metrics on QE activities with regards to test results, leaked defects, root cause analysis, etc. to present to larger audiences.
- Work closely with DevOps engineers to define optimal solutions for a multitude of platforms helping to introduce develop repeatable processes that will increase our quality while cutting down on human error.
- Manage training and continuous learning of QE staff by means of short courses, conferences, meetups, certifications, etc.
- Accountable for the test automation projects, mentoring, and providing leadership to the QE team members.
- Proven track record of building QE teams along with managing the function and direction of QE throughout the company.
- Excellent knowledge of Risk Management, Risk Identification and Testing in Agile environment.
- Strong technical skills, both functional and non-functional, manual and automation, ideally in a continuous delivery environment.
- Strong background in Agile methodologies to be a true champion of Agility that can identify and eradicate bad Agile practices across the enterprise.
- Automated Test Tools: Selenium, Appium, UFT, Robot Framework
Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.

Test Consultants are concerned with the independent verification and validation of the products produced by the development process. Testing is carried out in each phase: the requirements are tested by an acceptance test, the system design (analysis and design) by a system and integration test, and the programs by a program and module test.
Required Skills and Experience:
You design and develop more complex tests and non-functional tests. You perform many of the roles required of a software testing project, through which you acquire a full testing lifecycle experience. Typically you perform these roles as a senior member in a wider team. You act as a stream leader with technical delivery ownership within a limited number of technology areas. You contribute to bid or client proposals based on your technological expertise. You have delivery ownership and guide individuals and groups towards desired outcomes. You also actively participate in at least one community.
- Certification: 6 – 8 (2 years min relevant experience in the role), Bachelor's degree
- Should be proficient in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Testing Lifecycle, Testing Expertise, Testing Techniques, Testing Management, Architecture Knowledge, Technical Solution Design and Quality Management.
