Scope of Work:
Capio Group is looking for a QA/QC Lead to lead the Client IT Project Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test efforts under the direction of Project’s Quality Assurance/Testing Manager. The QA/QC Lead(s) will assist with planning, monitoring, controlling, executing, and assuring quality of the Client IT Project processes and work products, including the UAT processes. Additionally, the QA/QC Leadwill monitor third party testing activities like system testing, performance testing, etc. The scope of work shall also consist of performing and monitoring regression testing of the Client system.
The Client Project is a medium to high complexity, information technology (IT) project involving information system development, integration, data conversion, and deployment. Tasks including but not limited to:
- Plan and Execute QA/QC Processes
- Updated Quality Management Plan
- QA/QC Schedule
- Lessons Learned Document
- Plan and Lead Iterative CARS UAT Effort
- UAT Plan
- UAT Training Material
- UAT Defects Log
- Monitor Other CARS Testing Process
- Test Status Reports
- Knowledge Transfer
- Monthly Report
- Unanticipated Tasks
Mandatory Experience:
- At least three (3) years of experience managing Quality Control and Quality Assurance for a large and complex IT system project which includes:
- Maintaining the project’s Quality Management Plan;
- Managing QA/QC activities including providing updates to the project’s integrated master schedule;
- Developing, measuring, and maintaining test matrices for all types of testing coverage, reporting testing progress to plan (e.g., velocity), and providing testing metrics that demonstrate overall system quality;
- Identifying lessons learned for the QA/QC engagement.
*A “large and complex IT system” is defined as:
At least $20M in total project cost;
A solution that has at least one hundred (100) internal end users and one hundred thousand (100,000) external users; and
A solution that provides a secure data exchange interface with multiple external systems.
- At least three (3) years of experience leading and overseeing a user acceptance testing team for a large and complex IT system that leveraged software development lifecycle methodologies such as waterfall, hybrid agile, etc., including experience with user acceptance test strategies, test plans, test scripts, and testing tools.
- At least three (3) years of experience implementing test methodologies, such as system testing, regression testing, and system integration testing. This experience must include creating test plans, generating, and maintaining test cases and other test-related documentation such as test results, test statuses and defects.
- At least three (3) years of experience leading and overseeing external interface testing efforts on a large and complex IT system.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience using automation testing tools such as SoapUI, Katalon, Selenium and Postman.
- Possession of a bachelor’s degree (IT-related or Engineering field preferred). A copy of the diploma must be provided upon request. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
- Must be able to provide two (2) references from previous clients for whom Quality Assurance and Quality Control services have been performed within the last ten (10) years.
Desirable Experience :
- At least one (1) year experience with a California state agency or department performing quality assurance and/or testing activities.
- At least three (3) years of experience as a test lead coordinating and collaborating with a prime vendor/system integrator’s development and testing team.
- At least three (3) years of experience developing test case scenarios to perform positive and negative testing of requirements to ensure forward and backwards traceability.
- At least three (3) years of experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps to manage the end-to-end test process, including developing real time reports, configuring test activity dashboards, etc.
- At least two (2) years of experience creating reports using Microsoft Power BI tool or equivalent.
