Medical Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Medical Assistant will work under the supervision of a healthcare professional to provide patient care and support in a medical setting. This is a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic and delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Responsibilities:

- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures

- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse

- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments

- Assist with patient education and provide instructions for at-home care

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

-Perform EKGs and event monitor's

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

- Proficient in basic life support techniques

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional patient service

- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred

- Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant is highly desired

- Previous experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is advantageous
