What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Biller position at Capital Cardiology?
We are seeking an experienced Medical Biller to join our team. This is a full-time, Monday- Friday, work from home position. Medical Biller responsibilities include preparing and submitting clean claims to various insurance companies electronically and via paper claims. Medical Biller will be processing payments, addressing all adjustments and denials daily. Monthly management and follow up on outstanding A/R reports. Processing requests and submitting clinical documentation to insurance carriers as required. Managing correspondence with insurance companies for future follow up. Medical Biller will Reconcile postings daily. Answering patient billing and/or insurance questions, as well as assist in cross coverage for the team.
Requirements include high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in working with CPT and ICD codes. Knowledge of health insurance industry and strong computer skills required. Experience with Medical Manager Billing software is a plus, but not required. Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance. 401(k), paid vacation and sick time.
