We are looking for an exceptional associate to own the planning and logistics of our signature events along with the engagement strategy for the Technology Students and Grads Programs.
The ideal candidate will have strong planning, organization, and communication skills, in addition to meticulous attention to detail.
Summary of Responsibilities :
Partner with key program stakeholders to help execute signature Tech S&G Program Events (Experience Weeks, Onboarding, Graduation) supporting event and logistics support services (fun events, catering, swag, hotel room blocks, etc.
in accordance with Capital One's support process, standards and systems
Handle escalated issues acting as a contact for associates requiring higher level of expertise in order to resolve issues quickly
Help management identify and implement process improvements that enhance the associate experience and / or operational efficiency
Ensure compliance to policies and procedures through monitoring and coaching
Develop and execute strategies aimed at promoting the Capital One brand and developing a targeted candidate pipeline of university students
Develop and coordinate ongoing campus hire and internship trainings and communications
Manage program communications, including drafting and editing information to be distributed through Team calendar, Google Site, mailbox, newsletter and Slack
Engage with senior leaders across the company to ensure consistently positive experience for the program’s associates and interns
Build and own relationships with internal clients, stakeholders and external vendors
Maintain upkeep of Google Drives and Google Sites spaces, including deckware, rosters, and access
Basic Qualifications :
Associate's degree or military experience
At least 1 year of experience working in Event and Logistics Management or at least 1 year of experience in Human Resources or a combination of both
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree
At least 2 years of experience in Event Management or at least 2 years of experience in Recruiting or a combination of both
At least 2 years of experience in Human Resources or at least 2 years of experience in Marketing or a combination of both
At least 1 year of experience with Project Management
Experience working at a technology company
Experience interpreting metrics and trends
Ability to quickly and effectively adapt to change
Proven problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills
Ability to embrace new systems and process enhancements
Willingness to work flexible hours due to varying needs within the program
High degree of professionalism and integrity when interacting with all customer contacts
